Unhinged Date is a short film written by Toby Coleman, a talented colleague of mine from Queens Television. The film is inspired by his real life experience with a Hinge date, which was exhilarating to make. Every year, Queens Television hosts an annual short film screening, and I was fortunate enough to be selected as their film director for the year of 2024. The film was produced in winter 2024 and aims for a premiere in early winter 2025. Working with the Unhinged Date cast & crew was an eye-opening experience, especially as a self-taught creative, working with highly experienced & full fledge film students and trained actors. One of the things I love about working in film as a business major is how beneficial the workflow is to the transactions of the creative forefront and operations.
